The story of the Museum of Industrial Culture and its founder, Lev Naumovich, is a chronicle of disappearance. A museum where visitors could touch the past was destroyed for the sake of meaningless urban infrastructure. Before our eyes, not only hangars collapsed, but also decades of personal memory, passion, and love for objects that connected generations.

Lev Naumovich Zheleznikov
Founder of the Museum of Industrial Culture. He devoted his life to preserving history by rescuing the everyday objects that connect generations.
For decades, Lev collected more than objects from everyday Soviet life — he collected human stories. There were no display cases in his museum, and visitors were encouraged to touch the exhibits. Here, the past was not presented as a static exhibition, but lived on as a shared and tangible memory.
The Museum of Industrial Culture
More than a museum, it was a living archive of everyday life. From children's toys to vintage automobiles, thousands of objects preserved the memory of an era in ways no history book ever could.

The Collection
Thousands of everyday objects — from kitchen utensils to vintage automobiles and artifacts from the space age — told the story of a country through the lives of ordinary people.
